Vastu is the ancient wisdom and architectural science which teaches us how to use our external environments to create spaces of harmony, prosperity and abundance that support our lives.

Vastu is the first green science.

Our environments begin to act in the same way our very own consciousness feels. We externalize the clutter and disorganization that we feel in our own minds.

Similarly, if we clear, clean, declutter and reorganize our external spaces, we feel more harmonized and abundant than ever.

Positive surroundings filled with sensory inducing objects such as water fountains, flowers and incense help us feel more at peace.

Springtime is a wonderful time to clear and get rid of things that are holding us back. Letting go is a practice of release, and in the springtime we want to be able to spring forward shedding weight and the perception of heaviness.

Springtime is always a great time to let nature in with fresh flowers, lemons, herbs, and colorful palettes.

Some great tips in arranging our spaces for success are as follows:

-Place a water fountain or water filled glass vase with flowers in the Northeast to allow fluidity into our mindscape, so we move with ease.

-Set a salt lamp or candle in the Southeast to support digestive functions, as well as creativity.

-Grow big trees or place large greenery in the Southwest of your home for groundedness and stability.

-Incense, bells and windchimes placed in the Northwest enhance movement of thought, to allow us to let go of things we are holding on to.

-Declutter, organize and clear anywhere and everywhere to ensure that space is open.

Remember its about the environment in your mind that we are helping to heal by creating an external consciousness, also known as the environment, that will support it.

We have relationships with everything including our environments.

Lets make sure that this Spring our environments are fresh, clean and invigorating.

Happy Spring !
